A Guppy tank does not need to be elaborate. It needs to be stable.
Minimum tank size: 40 litres for a starter group of 6 to 8 Guppies. This is the most commonly misunderstood point for Qatar beginners who purchase Guppies and place them in a 5 or 10-litre bowl or nano tank. A bowl has no filtration and no adequate water volume. Do Guppies Need a Heater in Qatar?
The honest Qatar-specific answer: recommended but not strictly essential.
Guppies prefer 22 to 28°C. Qatar’s AC-cooled rooms maintain 20 to 23°C in summer and can drop lower in winter – sitting just below the ideal lower end of the Guppy’s comfort range.
